We are thrilled to announce that Shumaker Curated will be hosting Chef Sarah Rinkavage, a James Beard-nominated chef, in our garden room. This collaboration will be seasonal and will also feature a local artist.

Chef Rinkavage will be preparing a vegetable and seafood-forward menu for a special long table dinner on November 8th at 6:00 PM.

Long table dinners have a rich history across various cultures, traditionally serving as a setting for important discussions or the marking of significant life events. Today, these communal meals offer a wonderful opportunity to gather people with shared interests for intimate conversations and a truly savored experience. The long table format itself enhances the occasion, encouraging the sharing of ideas, the communal passing of food, the forging of new connections, and the celebration of togetherness.

The dinner will be held in “the garden room” at Shumaker Curated, located at 707 Washington Street, Evanston. The Main Dempster Mile.
