I dedicate Shumaker Curated to my Father, Walter Schaller.

A leading restauranteur and philanthropist, A Rotarian, he was always eager to be of service to others.

His charitable work included the American Red Cross and Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He enjoyed life, his family and friends.

He taught me how to curate a dining room at a very young age. His last 10 years on the earth, he fought Alzheimer’s. And as the disease progressed his character of grace, kindness stayed with him. The loss of my Father this winter was heartbreaking, but i know he’s still with me today, in my design work, and his beautiful character resonates in my children.

Thank you for your support, a portion of Shumaker Curated’s profit will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association annually.
